Alvon and his daughter Autumn were recently involved in a nationwide anti-Aids campaign. Here you can see their picture which was used on many of the city buses to increase public awareness of the importance of family caring and communication in fighting this deadly disease. Alvon is now in the studio working on his new CD which promises to reveal yet another intriguing side of Alvon. He has commented that this new project is being designed with Women In Mind. One song currently in the works is called "Breakfast in Bed". Hmmmmmmm......Look for more tidbits as the CD takes shape over the coming weeks. Alvon has been selected to be featured as part of the local blues gallery on the website of KQED, a public broadcasting station in San Francisco.
